Angus is a very historic region - perhaps best known for the declaration of Arbroath and Glamis Castle, childhood home of the late Queen Mother.
Dundee is a revitalised city  with the V&A and Discovery on the waterfront.

Aberdeenshire has a long coastline of sandy beaches and sweeping bays with famous fishing ports.
Aberdeen is a centre for North Sea Oil and home to one of Scotland oldest universities. 
 Whilst inland the 'shire' has more castles than anywhere else in the world including Balmoral the summer home of the Royal's.

The Cairngorms National Park is a mountainous region with the UK's only Reindeer herd and rare Artic flora & fauna as well as popular ski resorts.
